This book will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Max Barrett is a determined soldier/fighter who gets caught up in the middle of something bigger than he could imagine. It's a world of government secrets and lies and nobody is who they seem to be. Just like Max Barrett, you'll be guessing who is behind it all and questioning the motives of everyone with each turn of the page. I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review and I absolutely loved it! The characters are all uniquely developed and the location descriptions had amazing detail, painting a very clear picture in my head. Excellent read! Looking forward to reading more of Max Barrett's adventures.
What a great book Michael Pedicelli wrote. Shadow Hunt has everything any action/military/adventure reader would want. Our hero Max Barrett is in The Unit (yes, like the TV show) and his team is tasked with protecting Sara, the President's daughter, who is in Nigeria. The Pres is scared she will be kidnapped. Of course-all goes wrong and the excitement, fighting and scrambling begins. I loved the characters, all the descriptions of places (especially Istanbul), and even the bad guys. Wonderful read and looking forward to many more Max Barrett books. (I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review).

Cover to cover action and suspense. Well written and researched. Reminds me of some of the early Ludlum books. I am sure that we will be seeing Max Barrett again soon.
