I bought this book many years ago at a book store. I was reading it in the store and just had to buy it!
The humor is droll and plays on human quirks. We all may be guilty of doing a few of them. It really allows
one to laugh at the quirks of oneself or someone you may know. It brings up many things that I would personally have never thought of in a super funny way.

It's meant to be ironic not mean spirited. I related to a couple of things in it. I found it
so fun to have a laugh at my own expense. ahah! It also made me think how silly some things really are.
Good stuff, very cleaver. Good therapy for the pessimistic you may know in your life. Good gift for someone like this... I am more optimistic by nature. I think this could perhaps really help the 'self made miserable makers'
If they are not too miserable to read this.... It's a super fast read.

I personally found it to be a riot to read. Fun book - all that is required is a healthy droll/ironic sense of humor.

Somewhere over the years I loaned it out an it didn't return. I repurchased again and found it just as funny as the first time I read it.

This book is hilarious and I have used it frequently for talks and various conversations with family and friends. Everyone loves it.
One of the funniest books ever written.
I first read it when I was 18 and bought it again for a friend that is embarking on a new relationship.
This text was quoted in "NonViolent Communication" and although is still tongue-in-cheek, the humor that it's based on has simply not aged well at all.
You will probably enjoy this book if you aren't miserable and appreciate sarcastic humor. It was recommended to me as a humorous read to raise my low spirits. It had the opposite effect. Seeing problems that hurt you made light of tends to be a bummer.

I think the fault is entirely mine as I am a generally worthless, lazy, unmotivated failure.

I have several copies of this, and still getting more. I give them away. I meet people who are suffering from various issues, and I hand them a copy of this. I always helps.
